WorkQuote lets you apply tax to individual line items rather than applying it across the entire estimate. This gives you control when some items are taxable and others aren’t.
For example, if materials are taxable but labor isn’t under your local requirements:
- Add materials and labor as separate line items in the estimate builder.
- Apply tax to the materials line item.
- Leave the labor line item without tax.
- Review the subtotal, total tax, and total quote amount at the bottom of the estimate.
You can also create a tax library to quickly reuse your saved taxes on future estimates.
